TEERE in partnership with CODAC held a one day inception meeting with 17 Community Based Organisations under the SfDR/GIZ project "Enhancing Citizen's Participation & Social Accountability at the district level" in the Upper West region. The project goal is to strengthen citizen capacity to contribute to the development of it's district for quality public service delivery. The project is implemented in 17 districts across Upper West, Upper East & Northern regions. The project is supported by SfDR, LOGNet & Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development with funding from BMZ, USAID and the Canadian Government

As part of it's charity work, TEERE donates over 2000 Sanosan baby lotions to some selected health facilities across the Upper East region. Beneficiary facilities included Bongo District hospital, Afrikids medical center, upper East regional hospital and War memorial hospital in Navrongo. The Sanosan baby lotion is a hypoallergenic with no colourants and preservatives, no perfume, no parabens and silicones, no paraffin oil and it's a gentle nourishment for sensitive and allergy prone skin. The Sanosan baby lotions were donated by Mann & Schröder through Inter-NATIONAL Children's Help - Germany.

TEERE in partnership with Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations (GDFs Upper East) held a learning event in Bolgatanga. This event provided a platform for all stakeholders across the region to interact and share ideas on the way forward on the management of the disability fund. This forms part of activities under our project dubbed “Promoting Transparency and Accountability in the Management, Disbursement Procedures and Utilization of 2% (now 3%) District Assembly Common Fund Allocated To Persons with Disabilities”. This was made possible with funding from the French Embassy in Ghana.

TEERE attends 3-days intensive training workshop on good financial management. The training is facilitated by an expert from Humentum. Humentum is a global organisation formed by the merger of InsideNGO, LINGOs and Mango with focus on compliance, financial management, program development and people development. TEERE and Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations - GFD held a stakeholder consultative meeting in Bolgatanga to officially launch our anti-corruption project titled “Effective management, disbursement and utilisation of the District Assembly Common Fund allocated to Persons with Disabilities”. Present at the meeting were representative from Regional Co-ordinating Council, MMDA's, DCD’s, members of District fund management committees, EOCO, media and other invited guest.
